Cassidy Parmley ~ Art Director ~ cassidy@picadesign.com Cassidy is on the ball. Literally. (Actually, we all take turns using gym balls as desk chairs to save ourselves from becoming permanent desk-side sculptures. Let’s face it, design work is desk work.) He’s a music hound extraordinaire, switching from DJ to mix-master while deftly creating very cool designs—and all at the touch of the keyboard. He is our senior designer, providing creative direction whenever our zealous ingenuity needs management. Cassidy’s other post here is coming up with ways to brighten the day or enlarge our waists—he’s always up for a game of hoops (seriously unfair, given his stature). And, hey, is it somebody’s birthday? Let’s have brownies! But not until our work is done. This man has discipline. He has that stick-to-it-iveness that is a great example for us all. |

Reuben Brown ~ Graphic Designer~ reuben@picadesign.com When office talk turns to politics or social issues, Reuben can get a bit riled up. Keyword: bit. He may be passionate on such subjects, but he’s got the calm thing down. Nothing sends him through the roof (except, perhaps, the extremely long wait for the techno-tool of his dreams, the iPhone). Maybe it’s the fine artist in him; the same cool vibe that keeps his hand steady when he’s modeling an intricate classic yacht, the kind that sits on your desktop and looks JUST like the real thing. Reuben is our shape guy, our 3-D, prototype guy. He’s a master at everything multidimensional. Without him, we’d be pretty flat. Long and wide…but pretty flat. |

Jennifer DeJoy ~ Project Manager & Copywriter ~ jen@picadesign.com She’s supposed to be a copywriter, but Jen couldn’t write her own bio to save the world. Well, all right, if it was going to save the world, she probably could. She’s part entertainer, and the only one we know who can act out Macbeth by herself using 3 different languages (or at least phonetic simulations) at the same time. Jen’s enthusiasm and wit make the “job” part of our jobs a lot more tolerable. If you’ve got a new project, Jen’s your go-to woman. She’s got the scoop on all of our projects and is secretly referred to by the rest of our staff as the oracle. Woops. I guess the secret’s out. |

Caitlin Holman ~ Web Designer ~ caitlin@picadesign.com Caitlin happens to be the youngest oneamongus (is that German?). Just get her laughing, and you know how fun this SQL grl can be. Quiet by day, this coffee-swilling troubleshooting programmer-slash-problem-solver stays up for those requisite late nights to get the CSS or PHP (or what-all) working. And she’s got the answer to any question before you can say, “Google.” Caitlin can do anything WWW and she wows us daily. No kidding. |

Di Murphy ~ Bookkeeper ~ di@picadesign.com Di is our financial wizard and confidant. When one of us hasn’t filed our timesheets on time, or a bill is due, or an account is overdue, she’s the first to pounce (you probably get the idea…you want to stay on her good side). Seriously, she adds a warmth and glow to the office that can only come from true grace. |

Micah Ellis ~ Graphic Designer ~ micah@picadesign.com Ever since Micah started at Pica Design, well…things have changed. Gone are the days when we made an occasional cup of coffee at the office. Dark Magic is now the order of the day (so, the Keurig machine is partially responsible, but Micah is the grande coffee lover among us). Our sharp-witted snacker is a quick study (and it’s not just the java). He’s all about beautiful design. Fireworks is his new passion…he’s already earned the title, “Animator.” It’s tough to remember the days without Micah at Pica. |
